Now that you are engaged the next step is planning your wedding.  If you are feeling a little overwhelmed, take a deep breath.  Having a wedding planning notebook will help you be prepared and not stress out.  Here are a few tips to help you build your own.

Make Sure to Purchase the Right Size Notebook

Whether you go for a binder or scrapbook make sure it is large enough to hold all your information.  Once you have done that find your favorite bridal magazine and start gathering ideas.

Select Ideas Based Around Your Wedding Theme

While selecting ideas to add your notebook have them based around your chosen wedding theme.  You can add fabric swatches, floral arrangements, and more.

Don’t Forget Add Important Dates

Depending on how far out your wedding is you should be on top of important dates.  Things like venues, catering, and more tend to be booked in advance.  It is best to remember your date and have a backup plan just in case.

Customize It to Your Taste

It’s great to get inspiration from ideas you have seen.  However, let your wedding planning notebook reflect your personality and won’t go over your budget.  Remember your wedding day is about you and your groom.

Good luck on planning your big day.
